Cruise Description

Cruise The Many Sides of South Africa

Before your journey begins, enjoy the world-renowned restaurants and outlying Cape Winelands of Cape Town. Following a relaxing day at sea, it’s a late-night stay in Port Elizabeth, where you can escape to the animal sanctuary of Addo Elephant National Park followed by the charming 19th-century architecture and vibrant cultural scene of East London.

After another blissful day at sea, awake in Maputo, Mozambique, and stroll the city’s most prominent street, Avenida Julius Nyerere. Take advantage of a late-night stay in Richards Bay to head out on a safari at Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park—home to Africa’s “big five” animals and the largest white rhino population on Earth. Then it’s on to Durban where you can tour traditional Zulu homesteads. Two more days at sea take us to Mossel Bay, a true treasure on South Africa’s Garden Route, before heading back to Cape Town for an overnight stay, giving you plenty of time to enjoy countless adventures from mountain peaks to rugged coasts.

Cruise Highlights

Set your sights on Cape Town’s iconic Table Mountain, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and ride the cable car back down.

With dive sites for all skill levels dotting the coast of Port Elizabeth, discover another world teeming with aquatic life in the waters of Nelson Mandela Bay.

The Maputo Central Market, a must-see when visiting Maputo, has everything from the freshest exotic fruits and vegetables to nuts, fish, crafts, textiles, and more.

A serene, sandy beach with warm, gentle waters, Pelican Island is accessible by a land bridge within Richards Bay.

In Durban, head to the southern end of the strip and get up close with amazing aquatic creatures at uShaka Marine World.

More time in Cape Town means you can dip your toes in both the Atlantic and Indian Oceans on one of the area’s many beaches.
